Australia v England, 3rd Test, 16th December , 23.30

Get ready folks, today is pivotal.

1) We make a fist of it
2) We collapse and face up to abject humiliation

I'm confident! 🤪

What works with our numpties I guess 😆
40 degree heat, for today and tomorrow, ideal conditions not be bowling in or fielding in. We've just spent 90 overs in 35 degree heat.

Let's see if the team actually plays conditions and tries to make sure we are not back out there fielding tomorrow

You cannot deny the quality of their bowling mind
It's a crack bowling attack, but it's 4 bowlers on a flat pitch in baking heat.

The job is to get through their seamers and force them into bowling Green and having Lyon hold up an end (and just tick him over)
Probably the best over of the match that from Starc
That's only because Duckett was happy to waft outside off stump. Had it been an England Bowler and Aussie batter, that would have been 6 balls where they didn't play a shot and just watched the ball go through

Exactly. This is about hanging around, Its not about going at 8 an over and taking risks. Wait for the ball to get softer and the bowlers to get tired, then you can take advantage. If your not still there after 25 overs you won't be able to take advantage. The overs and the wickets down are far more important than the runs at this stage.

You’ve got to think about what the likes of Brook & Smith can do on a flat deck, with a 50 over old ball, against tiring seamers in 39 degree heat.
