Australia v England, 3rd Test, 16th December , 23.30

We’ve got the balance pretty much perfectly right apart from two players; Duckett and Brook. Both were aggressive and added 30 between them. Brook was aggressive with stupid shots from early and got nowhere.

The way to play is how Crawley and Root played. Good balance between defence and attack. Wait for it and put it away whilst being busy in between.
But if it’s not the natural game for those individuals they come unstuck for around 20/30 which is no good.

Nicely bowled and smartly taken, again Australia showing England's poor selection up... this will probably be over today now. Think that' its for Zak and Ollie for England for the time being.

it’s the British empires fault sending some of our best players ancestors to Australia.

We should claim them back.

If we could go back in time I’d right a no cricket contract clause to non native Australians

Who came unstuck as a result of not playing their natural game?

Brook tried to scoop a yorker on 7, ran down the wicket and got lucky when he missed and it hit his back leg and then he was finally bowled playing an almighty minging heave. Duckett hit a 4 then gave catching practice next ball.

Had Crawley and Root gone gung go they’d have been back long back in the hut with barely a run on the board.

And there’s Crawley out running down the wicket when he hasn’t done it all day. He was batting beautifully and scoring nicely.

It’s the hyper aggressive approach that have cost us three wickets

It's a shame this application wasn't here at least for the 1st test and they would have at least one that one imho.

It just sums up the whole debacle. Take this daft f***ing approach, ridicule anybody who questions it, get destroyed, and then abandon it anyway in this test when it’s all too late.
