Australia v England, 3rd Test, 16th December , 23.30

Gonna be a whitewash with most the series being against their second string bowlers, and Smith also missing a test for a laugh. Class

Presumably Khawaja will bat at 3 with Head keeping his opening spot.
Australia win the toss and bat.

The first hour could decide the test. We need to strike with the new ball. If they have wickets in hand going into the 39 degree weather tomorrow, I imagine their batters will adopt Starc’s disciplined approach from Brisbane and absolutely grind us into the dirt.

on nights, so hoping to watch a bit at break and then catch last 30mins when home. Although i'll unlikely want to see any of it if it continues the same was as first 2 tests

Well there goes the faintest hope we had of rescuing the series😂

Gonna watch the first session but I reckon they’ll still be batting at the end of day 2. Have to hope for a miracle and get Australians out before they manage to get themselves in. Wonder if there’s any odds on smith and lasagne both getting centuries.

If we are by some chance able to get a win, then a lot is going to fall on Jacks’ shoulders with as the pitch starts to turn later in the series.

50 first class wickets at the age of 27, good luck to him
I wonder who will have the new ball? Archer and Tongue?
Archer and Carse, Stokes confirmed yesterday
