Massive game this one, really looking forward to it. It's a tough one to call but a lot depends on how we bat this time round. Our bowlers have been carrying us for too long now.

Australia
1 Chris Rogers, 2 David Warner, 3 Shane Watson, 4 Michael Clarke (capt), 5 Steven Smith, 6 George Bailey, 7 Brad Haddin (wk), 8 Mitchell Johnson, 9 Peter Siddle, 10 Ryan Harris, 11 Nathan Lyon

England probable team
1 Alastair Cook (capt), 2 Michael Carberry, 3 Joe Root, 4 Kevin Pietersen, 5 Ian Bell, 6 Gary Ballance, 7 Matt Prior (wk), 8 Stuart Broad, 9 Tim Bresnan, 10 Graeme Swann, 11 James Anderson

I think I'd have gone for Stokes rather than Ballance, but if his recent good form with the bat can shine when it really matters, it'll be the right decision.

Weather looks reasonable, roll on midnight!

We are desperate for a good 1st innings total....rack up the runs 1st knock and you immediately put the oppo under pressure......Bout time the experienced batters stepped up to the plate

This. Big toss to win this one, the batsmen have a great chance to allow the team to play without pressure if we can just get a few on the board first up, not to mention the fact that we could have Swanny bowling in the last innings.

Few journos on twitter saying that Stokes and Monty are coming in. Interesting selection if true.

EDIT: Beaten to it. Haway Ben

Good news if true IMHO. If 6 batsmen can't do the business, 7 won't be enough either. But having some extra depth in the bowling must be a good thing, especially if the pitch turns as expected.

Bad move to play two spinners. Aussies will go after them and do damage again.

I still think it'll be a four man attack of Anderson, broad, bresnan and swann.
