Speaking as an ex-keeper, and however much I might’ve sworn at the buggers at the time, no keeper worth his salt would need any encouragement from his skipper to do someone who went walkabout like that. You’ll be saying I can’t stump them if they didn’t mean to fall over next.

Aye but it's what's came next. He could have withdrawn the appeal just like Dhoni did with Bell all those years ago. It can be argued that instance, Bell was more in the wrong than Barstow was too.
