Well, he wouldn't use Tim Paine to flog his book, would he. Unless he wanted the book to be "Mr. Average, a study of an unforgettably forgettable opponent."
 
So is Mr Paine implying that Stokes shouldn't have mentioned in his book what helped motivate him play one of the legendary innings in test history?
Thank anyway, Tim, for some further promotion for the book.
 
Isn't one of the attractions of sports autobiographies that they contain a lot of content on the author's opponents down the years? The sort of stuff people want to read about and all that.
