Its not easy to get the no 11 on strike when the number 8 is hitting sixes on length balls and then chancing a single on ball 5 or 6. I'm sure Cook would have liked to have bowled at McKay all of the time.
 

How the fuck did they lose that? James Faulkner is no Adam Gilchrist, should have had enough guile to get him out.

He's no Gilchrist all right but who is to say he wont be, hes miles ahead of him at the same age. Hes 23 year old won man of the match in the Sheffield shield final and has now won international matches twice in amazing circumstances firstly against India and now England. Gilchrist was 28 when he made his international debut.

Aye, he is starting to look like a top class all rounder, was very impressive in the last IPL.
