Aus v Eng 2nd ODI

from BBC:

Australia give Faulkner a makeshift guard of honour as he departs to a stranding ovation following his incredible unbeaten 69 off 47 balls. His last-wicket partnership with McKay was 57, of which McKay scored exactly two.

That is an absolute shambles from the captain[DOUBLEPOST=1389957466][/DOUBLEPOST]

Always been a useless twat. The ecb won't be happy until we have a team of plodding Mark Ealhams who can 'do a bit'

I didn't see the match but two hundred and ninety odd+ always strikes me as good winnable total for an ODI like. So was it a really good batting wicket and did England just bowl/bat below par or did they basically just hoy it away as per?

From Haddin and Maxwell throwing their wickets away, England really should've won at a canter. It just needed a little discipline, something we've lacked all tour. Mind you, if it wasn't for Morgan and Buttler, England wouldn't have been near a competitive total anyway. When you lose in the last over, questions are always going to be asked of the captain and bowlers.

Its quite astonishing how shite we have suddenly become. Cook should fall on his sword captain wise. Woeful.

I Could only listen to the game via the radio, I got the impression we threw that one away.

They've forgot how to win.

Rubbish

Mid 90s we were way shitter
Aye we were and that's the point in the past we were expected to lose the ashes and still maybe won a test or a few one dayers. This is a very good side against one of the poorest Aussie sides in a long time yet we've been utterly embarrassed by them.
