Been reports that there’s hundreds/thousands of maggots that have been leaked through a waste pipe and have ended on the beach.

Few dogs have had to be rushed to the vets, worth taking extra precautions if you’re heading there with your dogs.

Dogs will eat maggots on rotten food and drink out of stinky puddles so I can’t see how it will make them ill. This warm weather will have them maggots turn soon or the birds and fish will pouch them pretty quick

This. Dogs are opportunist eaters and their digestive systems can cope with stinking rotten food that ours cannot. A bit of maggot is just extra protein to a mutt. They even eat gravel to help break down bones ffs!
