why do we need so many blocks for segregation ?

Extend the concourse as its not fit for current purpose and send fans to another access.

Or have a movable barrier so you can close off different sections of the concourse.

Its not that simple. You need corresponding male/female toilets etc for both sides of the barrier and you cannot just 'send fans to another access' when the stadium is full as that by definition overloads that area. Thinking like this (in the extreme) led to the Hillsborough disaster.

Should being out a chant shaming the swathes of early leavers, everyone has their own reasons, some of course really important but the amount that leave early clearly would suggest if's either to get home early or bedded in the pub before the rush.

Don't think it would be a huge issue to have a couple of toilet blocks that are just cubicles, change them based on event / attendance
