Read the whole threadWhy do they have segregation in the South stand ?

Would like to know how many are wasted by the away fans not being able to use the front of the north stand upper.
Can't really remember 1000s of seats being empty (when we sold out) between the home and away fans when they used to be in the south stand. I'm convinced all it used to be was a little barrier between the swc and away section.

Why do you think Murray extended? Trying to keep up with the Mags who had also extended that year?
south all sold. just now.yep ah. just seen 2 together in the south lower down
AeySeparate the family zone from Roker End isnt it?
If we go 1-0 up the roof will takeoff.
And to think some want the aways shifting back to the lower bowl. It looked absolutely shocking when we had to protect 2k seats or whatever and only a few hundred away fans were turning up.

Vast majority of our tickets are also season tickets and walks up sales aren't very big for most games so we probably couldn't fill the seats most games.
That's an issue if safety over how things might look on TV.And to think some want the aways shifting back to the lower bowl. It looked absolutely shocking when we had to protect 2k seats or whatever and only a few hundred away fans were turning up.

People are far too concerned about how other people view us. Be a few hundred fans waited for pay day to buy a ticket and now can't get one but at least it looks better on TV.If the away fans were in the SS tomorrow we'd have an absolutely incredible 46,000 attendance whilst at the same time looking to the outside world that we couldnt even sell out the lower bit of the stadium. And also have us shooting towards a goal with empty seats and scattered Watford fans behind it.
It's going to be total support tomorrow from all sides, as it should be
But far far more when they're upstairs. There was many a game the lower bowl was virtually full when the support was high.
It wouldn’t, we’d sell more of the tickets. Exactly like we used too when our support warranted it.Imagine selling 45,000 tickets for a championship game , and this is what the ground looks like to the outside world and the players . Cos that's pretty much what it would look like tomorrow
