Attendance Thread - Stoke

Don't understand this, the south stand is beind the goal and no where near the half way line and I also thought they didn't blank out the few seats between the SS and the SEC anymore or the front couple of rows

On Tuesday there was only a few tickets left in the front of the SS, it's always like this but it's always half empty.
Any idea chaps?
It is only the actual front Row that is blanked out.

It looks less than full pretty much every week (despite having had few or no seats available) because of migration into the safe standing area.
Basically the Ultra Wanabee types have bought tickets in the Lower Sections but stand in the upper sections. They are allowed to do so because of an unwritten South Stand rule that claims "you can stand where you want".

Gotcha so there's not loads of seats blanked out, it's just people probably squeezing in up top.

Why do they announce the attendance so late in the game. They know before the game kicks off how many tickets have been sold, so that's what they eventually announce. Not the actual attendees.
