Attendance Thread - Stoke

We all know early kickoffs are shit compared to a 3pm or even tea time kickoff, but I can’t understand anyone who can make it just not bothering because of the kick off time, Sky or even worse, the weather. The ‘can’ was emphasised because I obviously don’t include those with work or kids sports commitments, that sort of thing.
can’t believe I’m looking forward to stoke at home .

We retreat to our own box, stand off you at will and allow you 20+ shots on goal and hope our keeper saves them all.

Then at full time our new coach runs to our local radio station and tells us all how wonderful we've been and tries to bend our minds away from the grim reality of it all.
I work on Teesside, predominantly with Middlesbrough fans. When discussing the weekends football at lunchtime the general consensus was that Sunderland 'should beat Stoke, they are horrific' with reference to the league game at the Riverside in late September. They 'couldn't believe how bad they (Stoke) were' and 'a good team would have put 5 past them'. I politely reminded them that this was the team who put 5 past Boro in the League Cup earlier this season which ended the conversation rather abruptly ...

A tale of two different coaches. I agree with the Boro fans and often say it at home and away games, even more so recently. The last two home games (Preston and Burnley) I said that a decent side would hammer us. Preston were crap and Burnley just too cautious. Both times we were ripe for a dry humping had both wanted it enough.

Let's see what Saturday brings ... Part one of our forthcoming trilogy. Not clever enough to make predictions but I doubt it'll be one for the footballing purists.

Sunderland could win this one if Stoke lose, but if Stoke don't win it could be a draw. Easy this prediction lark. Unfortunately, I'll miss this one as I'm abroad but I'm looking forward to a couple of wins against Stoke in the New Year. HTL.
