Attendance Thread - Stoke City

Just goes to show that good or bad results the previous week have very little impact on attendance.
Which tells me that many modern day fans see a match more as a way of feeling part of something, being able to meet up with friends or have a drink. Every club now has a majority of fans who will turn up. Even Bradford City, having a moderate season in the fourth tier are averaging over 17,000. Our crowds are good but not remarkable. The interest in the game in England is remarkable.

Of course our crowds are remarkable, very few teams would get 38-40k plus on a regular basis on the back of four seasons in league one.

What a load of rubbish that last line is.

They are remarkable mind. There’s very few clubs that would get them. And yes the club up the road is one of them but there ain’t many

Well the club up the road was giving 10,000 tickets away every week before the takeover, and that was with almost constant Premier League football, having never been in danger of dropping into league one and if relegated, plenty of cash spent and back promoted again. Never been told they must consolidate their status before attempting promotion. So yes, I would say our crowds are remarkable.

P6 added about 25 at the back @is BobBob lost
That to me says the rest in there have been Cashbacked. Assume the same thing with the other Blocks. Proabably be a dozen or so pop up here and there in the morning.

For those counting their pennies.

P14 is classed as NW Corner so are £29 for Adults (not £35 as they are in the Premier Concourse). Concessions prices are the same as elsewhere.
