To be honest I find it a a bit strange why people have problems buying them online. If you think of things like music or comedy gigs those tickets are all online only from sites like ticketmaster and that seems to work fine. As a club we use ticketmaster too and whilst I'd say it's far from perfect on a mobile, it's still perfectly usable so not sure why our situation would be any different to those other types of gigs.

Obviously having the ticket office open (or at least available to speak to on the phone) would help a few, but I'd guess it's a very small amount of people that actually do have a problem.
Agreed - plus how many of those that struggle with technology don’t have a younger relative, friend or neighbour who has mastered the modern wizardry of the internet thing who could help them????

From the clubs perspective every hour the ticket office is open is cost, directly attributable to people living under a rock 😅

Am having a drive up in the morning. Can you just rock up to the ticket office before to get one? Stupid question

You can't buy a normal season ticket online. Don't even get me started when it comes to carers tickets. Such a eloquent polite response by the way fellow supporter.
Normal season tickets went off sale, why are you trying to buy one, and contact Chris Waters about disability issues like tickets and parking

Aye, huge queue thou, do it online if you can

The ticket office will probably be open between 11 and 11.05 on the matchday, I'd imagine. And then when you get there, you have to queue outside and email 1 bloke.

SAFC have a ticket office? You actually mean a place where people who want to give the club money to watch their team play football can go to purchase them off actual human beings?

Stop dreaming, man-such naivety! I still haven't got my Sheff Utd away tickets for next Wednesday's match or had any word about when they'll appear despite purchasing them online three weeks ago-such stellar service!

30,000 plus season card holders plus those wishing to purchase match day tickets. say 2% have an issue.
ticket office open 3 hours a day for 3 days leading up to game
3 staff working at ticket office - each member has to deal with 22 people per hour to reduce to zero the issues
this just isnt feasible in timescale - not hard to work out you need more staff or longer opening hours
Come on the hierarchy at SAFC the supporters deserve better than this and the ticket office staff deserve better

Hartlepool's ticket office is open 10-4 all week before matchday, and they get a few thousand at home games.

We'll have a 36-38000 crowd on Saturday, and we're closed Monday and Tuesday, we've got Karen and Jean opening the ticket office for a few on Wednesday and Thursday morning, and then all day Friday. Absolutely small time, nonsense.

And Jean’s on holiday for the next fortnight 😳

Are there really 3,000 people who are not attending because the ticket office is not open? Granted, there will be some, but I doubt it is in the region of 3k.
A few who pay as you go may take advantage of season ticket mates being on holiday ( dint kna if that’s the case but wouldn’t suprise me )

I'm in the same situation. I'm hoping they arrive in today's post!

Well 1k of them were the extra cove try fans. Don't see why at least 1k of them couldn't turn up to the ticket office over the course of the week.. Especially if it was open all week. Massive queues tell you everything you need to know.

The ticket office should be open until 7pm midweek to allow those who work to speak to someone if need be; even if they open later at say 11am.The hours at the moment are well below what’s needed and do not suit those who work a 9-5. I feel sorry for those working in the ticket office as well, I bet some give them an earful for a situation for which managing it is well above their pay grade.
