Really don’t get why regulars don’t go to these cup games (unless it’s down to cost of course) I generally find them enjoyable to watch with less pressure of the league , few beers and 3pm kick off in fa cup, it’s sad how the competition has went so down hill in the minds of fans (not just ours)
Cash ? What's that ? The only thing that cash buys you now is the match programme. Probably won't be one of them tomorrow either. Is there a cash turnstile on tomorrow?
Part timerNo bothering tomorrow, gonna watch the only team in Ryhope instead. Haway CW.
Don’t be so ridiculousIs there a cash turnstile on tomorrow?

Done this lots of times, home and away over the years. Always crack on with the people around, mates for the day, and in some cases new mates for life.6 of us usually meet up at the pub before home games - but tomorrow the other 5 can't make it. It might be something to do with FA Cup round one...
My first match at Roker was in 1969 but tomorrow will mark a first for me - going to a home match on my own. I'm still looking forward to it, like.
I have, however, done a couple of SAFC aways on my own (while working away) - Cambridge and Leicester - and think lone attendance is still better than not going.
And what else is there to do on a Saturday at 3pm?Really don’t get why regulars don’t go to these cup games (unless it’s down to cost of course) I generally find them enjoyable to watch with less pressure of the league , few beers and 3pm kick off in fa cup, it’s sad how the competition has went so down hill in the minds of fans (not just ours)
We have total apathy really. You can tell this by how many fans leave early/miss kick offWe seem to be affected more than the others. Of the other 2 big NE teams Middlesbroughs last home attendance in the FA Cup was 16k (Ave league gate about 20k) amd the Mags last FA Cup home attendance was 52k.
