You'd have had to leave before the final whistle as the only 2 trains out are 10:02 and 10:05. I did email and DM Grand Central and they said they had no plans to put on a late train.

They were in the PL when they 11k free season tickets were gifted. Different story now the blood money has arrived.When was that? Didn’t think villa park held that many?. Goggle says it’s only just over 42k?

I checked Trainline there’s a one late after 11 unless Trainline was wrong. I’m lucky I have a lift now but if not I’d have had to sort something out. Trains are a nightmare and buses not much better once your going out of Sunderland.
