Attendance Thread - Coventry City (Play-Off 2nd Leg)

How many in the 10 years before then…
Football has changed. This has been done to death. We regularly hit 25k top of the champ under mic mac etc.

We’re getting 40k in this league and similar in league one.

Look at clubs like Brighton, attendances are through the roof across football. It’s that simple. Our current capacity isn’t enough for a successful Sunderland.

Been done to death and it ain’t happening despite delusions of grandeur on here. Funny that.

Alot of talk about moving the away fans in here. If we get promoted there will be a lot more sold out away ends and other than a couple of clubs surely we can find a way to allow the front rows to be sold?

The last 10 years has meant attendances have been down, but keeping the away fans upstairs is the best way to limit seats lost to segregation and allow more home fans.

Extend the south stand! Get some type of nice exterior so when you’re walking across the new bridge it looks impressive. Job done. Think 55k be perfect. Away fans will take more numbers in the prem also.

I think the match day experience is improving all the time which will increase attendances whether in the prem or not. The new footbridge and the development of the sheepfolds and riverside etc will make the whole day before and after match more of an event. A large amount of our fanbase has to drive in from all over county Durham and beyond and i know many that just find a grubby street in roker to park and walk straight there and back after. Pretty sure a rtn to the prem will see the stadium full which of course creates a much better atmosphere.
