It’s been a number of occasions with some quite serious very near misses from bottles being thrown from above and also people getting covered in piss. The club had to act. If they now go back on that and something major happens, the club are at fault.
Hardly any clubs want more than our standard allocation anyway so the lost revenue is minimal and the safety of supporters is worth more than a few quid.
As Coventry were the worst offenders, we should have banned you outright.

Cutting nose off imo. Clubs like Sunderland who don't have parachute payments should be maximising their income. You were happy to open your legs for Newcastle, even painted your bar in black and white. Nice to know you view us in a different light to them 🤣
