Athletic article - if Ref and Var decisions were corrected

Aye that was it.
I mean, it wasn't really, 09 against Leeds was blatantly a penalty.
The way I look at it, ONien was a pen, and the one on Enzo was a pen too. Cancelled out.
Ten years ago - League standings if refs had made the right call
Now - League standings if VAR had made the right call
I remember in our first (?) PL season under Keane there was a table that said we would have been about ten places higher if we’d got all the right decisions.

Was that the following week, Bournemouth? Fair enough.

Sorry if Seb, couldn’t see it anywhere else.

Athletic article on the table if Ref and var decisions were correct. We would have been 11th apparently.

It says our pen against Bournemouth was wrong (?) and ONien should have conceded a pen against Leeds (which I agree with) and Enzo should have had one at Bournemouth (correct).

Doesn’t say owt about Ballard, or even the one we should have had at home against a team I can’t remember when it hit the defenders outstretched hand (it was in the SW corner?).

I won't be reading it if it's based on horseshit like that.

It was a cast iron penalty. Reinaldo cleverly got himself in-between the defender and the ball and stupidly the defender (Scott) still tried to get the ball coming through him. It was a ridiculous challenge. Reinaldo made a meal of it but it was a clear foul.
I feel as if generally we have had the rub of the green this season.

Ballard was literally wrestled to the ground by 2 Arsenal players, Rice was one, in the away game. We would have been beaten anyway but it was an absolutely ridiculous decision not to give a penalty. It was as clear and obvious foul as you will ever get.
