Aston Villa planning complaint to Premier League

Unbelievable that It didn't go to VAR for a start. Not sure they will get far with the complaint probably just get a sorry but It's cost them millions of pounds because they would of been In champions league
Ref blew his whistle so under the current protocol they couldn't go to VAR

You’re right it will cost Villa millions but it couldn’t have gone to VAR as once the ref blew play had stopped regardless of what happened after that

I've always said that eventually we'll get to a point where there's so much money involved and zero consequences for terrible refereeing decisions, a club will legally challenge it and win.

You either keep yourselves honest or someone else will impose honesty on you.

The referee was honest, perfectly honest. It was a mistake but it was an honest one.

Same as Martinez made a an honest mistake earlier in the game which put them down to ten men. They gonna legally challenge him as well?

They can complain all they like. The ref made a mistake and that’s it.
Correct. Moan when VAR goes against them. Moan when ref makes a mistake. Just moan generally. Too much money involved. Simple as that.
Stunk of Saudi money the decision
Don’t be daft man.
Is there a ref Newcastle haven’t paid off this season?
Ref made a mistake.
Did that daft Argie getting himself send off stink of Saudi money as well?

What a load of shit!

Mistakes are made and have been made for years by both players and refs.

Players miss open goals, and make horrendous mistakes that cost teams big games.

And refs make big mistakes that cost teams games always happened always will.

That doesn’t mean players or refs are dishonest?

That’s just football , going down the legal route is farcical
