Leach is a good bowler, the problem is he's not hot with the bat and if you add in that we have Anderson, Broad, Overton plus two dodgy batsmen and losing Ali as well the batting line up looks bad.
If you could include Leach for a bowler (ie depend on him doing the same job that Lyon does for the Aussies), retain Ali as a batsman only instead of Vince or Malan then he could be an option, but it's a risk imho.

It's debateable how good Leach is or can be, because without a doubt the wickets he has got have been at Taunton where the wicket has been heavily prepared for spin, it would be interesting to know how good Leach has performed away from there.
