Ashes Pressure

Just try and enjoy the cricket more. We are mint
We do though.

Just some look at the England cricket team with a glass half full instead of a full glass in your case.

As good as we are you can look for critical thinking. I will reiterate what the OP has said is pointed out some facts that can be viewed in a negative light if your looking at things from an everything is perfect perspective.

Alas nobody is perfect and critical points can be found. I believe this current set up has the same bullish attitude as you and that's actually a good thing. But you can temper that all the same without being wrong.

Everything single one of us wants to win 5-0 playing the way we did in Pakistan. But I and others can see perhaps obstacles to that.

It's like if you said Sunderland are class there's no way we lose to Luton just enjoy it. When our weaknesses could well have been exposed as our strengths. Unfortunately they were and our strengths didn't come out.

No need for going for the jugular and telling others opinions are completely wrong. My apologies for doing the same as it just makes me a hypocrite.
Would rather not fall out with a poster already when he's got plenty of good things to say.

Common ground can be found and that's us all wanting a great series which England win. 5-0 would be dreamland. But I'd be shocked if we don't lose one though.

Yeah I don’t think we will win 5-0 either like, Australia are absolutely quality, by far the best Aussie side here since 2005

But England are being the best versions of themselves, this is the best we’ve got into in ashes in a long time

In the modern landscape it’s the only way we can go and play, it’s worked too.

I am a CC lover, attend regularly, but you have to question why Ollie Robinson is even playing in this match, there is no need, England pay his wages, he has had enough cricket already, he took 14 wickets the week before

Jimmy kept bowling on a flat flat pitch last game and gets a groin niggle

Need wrapping in cotton wool these lads

Think some very fair points there mate.

But more than fair to say the last year or so both in terms of winning games and entertainment should in the main create a very optimistic and excitement view coming into the Ashes more than anything else.

At least for what it is worth that my view

Well if hes reference IPL then maybe he might want to actually state that in his post - especially as hes talking about the test team.

it doesn't really make the slightest difference does it, what his form is like in the IPL?

Tbf, some punctuation would help. It does look like he's saying "nothing but low scores, barring one great knick in the IPL," rather than "nothing but low scores, barring one great knick, in the IPL."

i assumed he meant 1 good knock in the IPL, i just don't see the relevance
