I think I drank my way through it, dont think I could manage it now mind, my marra who smoked at the time had a cigarette every time I had a pint. He said I had 12 in the match. I had 3 before in the town and 2 afterwards, not surprised I slept well :)

that’s been made abundantly clear to me now. Shame but I’ll be watching the cricket from here on in but very unlikely to comment

be hypocritical if I just give in and give HL the attention it craves. Clever poster who clearly posts in a way to avoid moderation

I just ignore the spammer, I am surprised @Roger doesnt change the title to hosted by Hetton Spammer, ruins it, tedious cut and paste merchant

This is the first thread about the first test, so if anything any new ones would merge into this one.

That’s what I’ve done but they merge my threads into HL threads, so I no longer see or contribute

that’s my jibe here, use the ignore feature but when someone who is on ignore posts a thread, how I’m I to know, so I start one and then it gets merged

That scenario happens a lot and then people say seb or why haven’t you used the other thread , well because they are on ignore

it’s a no win situation

we shall see but it’s ridiculous to have to post a thread for an event in a fortnight, such as HL does

I’m in a no win situation here .

they say use the ignore feature but then things like this happen . I don’t know an easy solution to that

@Roger is very happy with it, thats all that matters, should limit the number of posts for people a day, and cant post matchday until you have the team, the fucker doesnt even go to the match

My point exactly. They post without any intent of posting within the thread based on fact or opinion

it’s a no win situation this, so I’ll just have to live with it, eg posting the wicket before lunch thread

I think it’s been shown over the last 17 years on the cricket forum , I can make the odd relevant point . HL starts threads but it usually ends there
