Against us, he reliably scores massively.

I expected him to do as much this series as I said in the First Test.

I dont see a consecutive average of 130 over 15 or so innings as freakish mate. 5, 6, 7, yes.

But something which is freakish is by definition not reliable or to be expected, but by every measurement you can offer Smith scoring a ton vs England is almost metronomicaly predictable.

He averages 66 against us

He’s averaged over 100 against us once before. His other averages were 31, 38 and 56

You’re really arguing for the sake of it here.
