He may have been in better form at the time, not facing as good bowlers as this series it’s one position!

Plus like we said before time and time again would both have him at 4, if we had quality 3.

But we don’t!

Batsman at 3 and 4 in the order get runs because they quality batsman not the actual position.

Imo Smith would have scored exactly the same runs this series if batting 3
