Things that are wokeAnd making a woke version.
I was pissing mesell laughing listening to the news on the wireless this morning.
They had the captain of the Artemis mission on waxing lyrical about how great we all looked from up there. How you realise we're all one people, one race, one species etc. No sooner had he finished than they skip to the next story... "President Trump says he's going to bomb Iran back to the stone ages."
Which part of it do you mean? Leaving earths gravity takes a monumental about of thrust/force, so you have absolutely gigantic rockets to get up there. Big rockets means lot of flammable liquid and machinery and you have humans, so lotsnof checks and balances.A serious question but can somebody tell me why when launching there is so much caffufle and potential problems with allsorts of experts on hand yet when moon landed they can just return back with little fuss. this is previous ventures I'm referring to Does not make sense.

Leaving the moon, which has much less gravity and little to no atmosphere, means it doesn't take much to leave its gravity and its a tiny craft that is Leaving that gravity.
You've inadvertently thrown up another question. Thrust calculations are based partially on air density. Most of it is just having faith in Newtonian mechanics and Kepler's laws of planetary motion.
Apart from being sat on top of a rocket designed and built by the lowest bidding contractor.

Let's run through the maths. How many lbs/thrust did Apollo lander pod launch with? After Challenger they probably don’t take any chances.
If you are on the moon though there are no experts available to fix anything and a limited supply of oxygen which means when you need to go you go.
You also don’t need to have a massive explosion to get you off the moon surface like you do on earth so not as risky from that point of view

And hiw many does it take to leave earth? And then adjust for guesstimate on atmosphere density and gravity adjustmentMaths on a Friday!!!!
3500 lbs (according to google)
7.5 to 7.7 million lbs (again according to google)And hiw many does it take to leave earth? And then adjust for guesstimate on atmosphere density and gravity adjustment
See how that's slightly incongruous?7.5 to 7.7 million lbs (again according to google)
See how that's slightly incongruous?
Absolutely agreedBut earth has a greater gravitational pull so you would need more.

There's precious little else to get behind or take something positive from in this world right nowThere’s a lot of posters including themselves in this and previous lunar related endeavours on this thread. We this and we that’s all ower. I nivver realised how involved some SMBrs are.
