The OP is making a plausible observation, but clearly carries an intent to provoke division among our community. A strange trait.

You idiot. Supporters who want the team to be better than they are. Aren't they supporters?
We'd love to be competing against the likes of Arsenal again, but we aren't at that level anymore and never have been if I'm honest. That Arsenal 'reserve' side would beat every bottom half and some top half PL sides more often than they'd lose.

To develop he has to go ASAP tbh.

If he stays he will pick up bad habits from this league.

As much as I hate to say it, he should think about his career and go.
Think you are correct. Unless we seriously make up the squad to match his current talent . He will move on.

Smith-Rowe, Nketiah and Odegaard would get into the starting line up of any team outside the top 6 as a front three with ease. Hell with Aubameyang looking on his way out, that might well be 3 of Arsenal's front 4 in the second half of the season.

Cedric is top quality and Leno in goal is still a very good quality PL keeper.

That was a very strong 'reserve' side in my eyes.

Nketiah is out of contract and moving on apparently so possibly only 2 of 4.

Go to a premier league team and get loaned to L1?
I think if he stays he plays, that may mean championship starter next year which is great for his career
Anyone outside of the top six he would be pushing for a starting spot.

He is that talented.

If he goes to a top six club he would be training with better players initially and would improve by doing so.

Just like to say I think Arsenal fans in general are ok. Carling cup games are generally family above the away fans. Throwing piss and bottles at people below you I found as bizarre as the phone lights. Sunderland fans have their bellends (yes thanks to them the bar was closed) . That aside fair play to our lads and the fans. 5-1 and proud to be a Sunderland fan

Yeah fair point, but with this Auba situation playing out, it will likely mean more game time for him and might convince him to stay.

It's still an extremely strong front 3 either way though.
