The third was Embleton slipping over while challenging Tavares, on our right
Not gunna make Hume the scapegoat we were 2 down before he came on, done for 2 goals but in both cases the forwards were pretty much un marked

Arsenal were able to exploit our biggest weaknesses; the inabaility to stopp crosses, and leaving players unmarked in the penalty area.
The inability to stop crosses etc has been our biggest weakness all season thus far.

First half really decent against a top premier league team. Class showed out, some real plus points, Pritchard probably best, Broadhead will be a big miss if it is a hamstring injury. A lot of naivety in not doubling up on Pepe. Defending questionable at times (too many times) but we won't play the likes of these for a good while yet.
So hopefully lessons learnt and we get back to the real test at Doncaster. They must show that they can take this in their strides and use the lesson to improve as a team going forward into next year
Good post

what the bloke earns is irrelevant! There were some basic skills and skill in physical lacking in his defensive. Will get mullered in our league at his domain.

There were flashes of good passing football from us at times. However, we’re still a bit too nice for me out of possession.

very murdoch to emphatically say one thing that's blatantly untrue then go 'oh er, actually that whopper won't go by, well yes obvious its not true'
You and @10 Trenches Deep should know that Murdoch sold his entire interest in Sky nearly three years ago. You're both dead right about the crap journalism BTW. But citing Murdoch takes away from your credibility.

The players should take heart in this..
Turn a negative into a positive and look upon this as a education in football..if they want to be the best they can be just look at who've they've played tonight (ok Arsenal may not be best example) but that's the premier in a nutshell..learn from it then you'll improve.

I thought we did well, especially in the first half. We were playing against players that are just at a different level. We can't defend for shit like but we looked decent going forward when we got the ball.

It's easy to say that though and whilst we could do better for the goals the truth is Arsenal are a class above us.
Nketiah's movement was brilliant
Agree ,but ,
Look at the goals again and not one of our players who were near him looked over their shoulder to see where he was was
