The game is a bit of a marker. You can see him up against young premier league elite players. How quick does he shift it, compared to them, is he keeping up with the pace, is he composed etc. Neil had some good moments tonight, they coincided with the rest of the team having a good spell. Good challenge in the middle and then carried on his run to contribute to our goal. But there were other aspects that he didn’t look at the same level as them.
I just call it as I see it like. I think he’s very good at league one level, but not of the quality of players he was up against tonight. That’s not a criticism of him.

1st half so proud of the lads, 2nd half grafted but we were shite and also Arsenal reserves showed their quality but 5-1 flattered them, Doyle needs a break, his inexperience showed and was very poor tonight, imagine Embo not going in and missing the challenge at 2-1 early in the 2nd half which lead to their 3rd goal, that moment changed the game but who knows what could of happened.

Well that is reporting worthy of Murdoch employment because the same commentator saw the replay and changed his mind emphatically to agree with the ref.
