if the league one keeper of the year from last season with the best record in the league who played most of the season behind a makeshift defence comes on for us we'll be staying will we?

This has been done to death months ago now and anyone who persisted in saying Burge was the answer out of nothing but stubbornness never brought it up again once Hoffmann started playing for us.

That in itself said it all, with the reason clearly being because they knew it would be verging on ridiculous to even compare the two.

We have a goalkeeper in Hoffmann who now actually wins us points which makes a very pleasant change.

Goals prevented stats and various statistics back all of this up. It's not even debatable.

This game will give our lads confidence. We had some excellent spells against a top class outfit. Arsenal have had to be at their best to beat us

Good illustration of the merits and possible potential of our two strikers tonight.
Broadhead who sadly isn’t our player looks full of potential, good movement, subtle touches etc.
Stewart looks like a willing worker but he’s sadly off colour at present and looks pretty limited.
Don’t think Stewart plays well as a lone striker.
