Getting a little bit boring this stance. Injuries happen in football. We could’ve rested Broadhead tonight only for him to get injured in the 2nd minute against Doncaster. Can’t wrap players in cotton wool

You can live with an injury sustained in a league game mind.

It's very tough to take when it comes in a game that is ultimately meaningless for us.

Look don't get me wrong, nights like tonight are canny especially as we have had so much hurt over the last few years, and the fans who have travelled down really deserve it.

But personally I'd have rested anyone who we really cannot afford to lose - e.g. Hoffmann, Broadhead, Neil and Stewart especially, and played the likes of O'Brien instead.

And I've said since pre-season that I would have got us out of the cups in the first round so it's a view I've had for a long time.

Denver clearly isnt fit, feel for him being subbed on as he clearly doesnt have it at the moment.
Still think hes an asset and produces more than most defenders on the wing.

game starting to look like what i expected though. desperate defending

Hume is a 23 year old lad coming back from some major injuries having played barely any football in about a year and he’s doing it at a standard he’s never played at before. He’s clearly struggling but how about f***ing supporting your team and the players instead of sniping at him.
In what has overall been a very promising performance

Aye I’m the professional footballer standing 20 yards away from the player I’m meant to be marking, being repeatedly nutmegged, being repeatedly caught looking away from where my player is, being repeatedly responsible for the chances arsenal are getting. Definitely my fault.
Mate just log off eh , you are a joke.

I reckon I'd rather we hadn't had our better players in the shop window tonight, it's going to be even harder getting out of Div3 next year if we're without Neil & Broadhead.

The levels in football are insane mind. It’s not just like levels 1-4 up the pyramid, you’ve got players not even getting a game for arsenal and looking poor when they do looking like galacticos tonight.

Been a really good effort from them tbf. We look tired now though, hope we don’t end up getting totally hammered these last 20. Don’t deserve that tonight.

Fans always wanting to have a pop. He's up against a £72m player
