Good that. Arsenal slightly better, but only cos of confidence and Sunderland a bit nervy at the back. Keep it at 2-1 for 15 mins after half time and this could tilt in Sunderland's favour with Arsenal getting nervy and Sunderland with nothing to lose - plus, the fans can get right behind them.

Might have brought Kimpioka on there for Broadhead, that shape left us wide open but it was a massive gamble to give us the best chance of scoring I thought. Never mind.

Good half though, Pritchard’s turning into the player we all hoped we were getting.
Agreed
Don’t know why he’s changed the shape.

Only team to score against Arsenal in this cup this season.
Those on Doyle's back give your head a shake, he's 18 in a poor league one side with two centre halves who try Hollywood balls instead of trying to play football.

It’s great to see us go to a premier league side and play some decent football. Really puts these diving, time wasting, cheating buggers in league to shame.

Gutted about broadhead mind. At least he walked off the pitch ok

That'll do... we've looked good going forward and have shown we are a decent team that can play a bit. I think Arsenal thought the game was won at 2-0 and have struggled to get going again.

You don't know how bad it is. You just couldn't wait to bring that post up let's be honest.
Well his initial post was well b4 ko. And looks he may be proven right. A strange starting 11 given the situation we are in in the league. A gamble not worth taking

Prichard has been brilliant. I think the playing surface has helped us massively. Suits our play

See it in the league quite often where we tend to look really good in games where teams try to play football against us and/or the surface is decent, as it really helps our game.

Hoffmann alluded to that in his article in The Athletic at the weekend and noted that we struggle against the sides who just hoof the ball into the box for 90 minutes.
