Are we gonna protest yet?

Protest what? He’s offered to give the club to anyone who will take the debt on. He can’t make it any clearer that he wants out.

In my view, any protest is worth it, with the exception of staying away. Write a letter, bring a banner, voice your frustration at the match jn whatever way you want. As a fan, and a paying participant every other Saturday, we should have a voice and we should use it.

Why not send protest emails ?

I totally agree.

But I think that most supporters want the club to hear their voices.

At the moment most of us feel disconnected.

That makes sense. I can understand that perspective.

I just reckon Short would hear about it in his weekly report from Bain and go “I’m trying to get rid of it.” Then move on with his day and not give us a second thought.

What can you actually protest about? You asked that the Club spend money and they did. The fans demanded that the Club went in to debt and that's what happened.

He wants rid.

He has personally invested millions that has been spunked up the wall by successive management teams.

The parachute payments dwarf the revenue from either the Championship or League 1. You will only be about £2 million worse off once you are relegated. Short doesn't really care if you are in League 1 or the Championship.

The only chance he has of selling is to either get rid of the debt and then sell the Club cheaply in the lower Leagues, or get back to the Prem and sell it as a viable Club.

Which do you think is going to happen?

Why? He’s a bloke that does his best to liaise with the fans, he’s not responsible for the mis management of the club

I’ll ask again, how do you know this protest is about Short?

Because your opening post mentioned him?

“The owner, board CEO and players have had an unbelievably easy ride from the fans that still bother to turn up.“

So the other three shouldn’t be given a rough ride? Thanks for clearing it up, I’ll cancel the protest and stand down the tanks.
