Are the experts calling it?

1 more win 🤣

And then I definitely won't be saying to anyone 'Its just Sunderland doing Sunderland things'......

So we need more than 40 points?

No idea. RLB got asked that same question post match and said the magic number is 40 but said he wouldnt be surprised if its more than 40 this season. At the minute West Ham, Forest and Leeds all seem really competitive, hopefully they burn out.

We'd need a monumental collapse now to go down. There were some jitters after recent results, but that convincing win hopefully instills some more confidence in our lot, and stops other teams from sensing weakness and smelling blood when they play us.

We have a tough run though, pretty much all our home games left are against top half teams, only Forest and Brighton (who are barely bottom half) left as the "easier" games. We need to grab some points on the road if we want to push on, because I can see a few defeats at home on the horizon.

Leeds maybe fizzling out already.
Dont be suprised if there is a sudden plumit by one of the teams above, not us like.

Think we will be fine but Leeds, West Ham and Forest are all decent think itll be a really high points tally this season compared to the past decade.
There’s literally no evidence to support this. West Ham have slightly less points than the average team who finish 18th have after 24 games, and the average at the end of the season for 18th is about 36 points. They have won 5 games all season - Forest (when Forest were a total car crash under Nuno at the start of the season), Burnley (a game in which they were outplayed and should have lost), Visitors (who didn’t turn up), Spurs (with a last minute winner in a game Spurs should have won), and Sunderland (who didn’t turn up). It’s mostly West Ham around here, and not a single one of them thinks that they are anything other than shit and going down.

We won’t get beat at home all season.
