Anyone not wanting Europe?


For me this is very similar to when we got in the playoffs in our first season back in the Championship (knocked out by Luton)

Of course you go for it. If you can get it, great. But the truth is, when we got promoted last year we were much better placed to make a go of PL survival. We had longer to prepare.


The exact same applies here.
 
Would be great if we do qualify,and it might attract even better quality players to the club.

After watching 2 days of wall to wall bleating on about how tough Arsenal fans have had it for 22 years, I'm ecstatic that we're even in with a chance of Europe.

Not qualifying for Europe our first season back in the PL after around a decade away, having been in League One just a few years back and beating Chelsea, Bournemouth, drawing with Arsenal, City, Villa and beating the richest club in the werld twice..

So what?

Are people not meant to be discussing things that might happen, incase they don't happen and then we have to take a little ribbing from mags or deluded world of RTG or whatever else?

Let people talk about it and discuss the possibilities. It'll have zero impact on whether or not it happens, and if you're that afraid of it "being brought up constantly" then steer yourself away mate 🤷‍♂️

You seem worried about the idea of the thread backfiring.

How would it backfire? If we don't get Europe, what grave consequence will this thread offer?
