Anyone heading down Headingley?

Not a match thread but just wondering who’s going. Had a bit of a nightmare with travel with the rail strike as we’re going on the Saturday but all sorted now. Was looking forward to it however checking the weather forecast has put a bit of a dampener on things

I'd love to be going but sold my tickets for reasons well documented. I'd urge anyone going not to spend a penny in the ground, but I know a day at the cricket isn't the same without a few beers.

Hasn’t all of the poison been removed now?
Most except Ballance. Plus dont like how the ECB have just given the games back before the results of the inquest. The whole place is a bit tainted for me now whoever is in charge. I still follow the results and want then to do well but can't bring myself to go to Headingley or watch Yorkshire in person after all that has gone on.

I'm going with my dad for days 2 and 3. Trains booked but that's been a nightmare, thankfully managed to get some pretty cheap bus tickets down. Only an extra 40 minutes travelling time so not too fussed, especially as it looks like we'll be getting money back for train tickets.

Fingers crossed the weathers ok. Looking a bit ropey atm but not forecast to just piss down all day

We’re going on Saturday, having to detour to York to pick up the Father in Law. If it makes you feel better, we’ll be taking a packed lunch and it’s my FIL’s raison d’etre to smuggle a couple of Ginny tinnies in his binoculars case.
