Anyone box with a Heart Rate Monitor?

I'm trying to find / determine a way to estimate a person's heart rate based on thier punch rate.
Of course the base line will be down to age / weight. Then punch rate on top of that.

Why am I doing this?

I work for Corner | The Ultimate Boxing Experience - and just looking to put in some sort of HR estimation for people who dont have a HRM.

The whole point of a HRM is that different people's hearts beat at different speeds when doing the same thing, so its useful to track it.

A decent chest strap is only £30.

Yes, i know that. But some people dont buy them and as I said, it'll just be an approximation.

Didn't mean to sound harsh.
But there is no meaninful approximation. The entire point of the HRM is to see how a certain activity affects the individual.

I wear one for my excercise, and my results are completely different depending on how I feel on any given day. So if it varies significantly just for me.............
