Any ticket offers for Derbyshire game - 14th August?

I may have dropped a clanger!

I have relatives coming up on Wednesday for the game. Not Derbyshire people but cricket fans. I said I would 'treat' them to a day at the cricket. I thought there would be two of them. I've just been informed that there will be six adults and possibly two bairns. I'll shell out full price but if there any any offers on, I'd be obliged.

Might be worth dropping the ticket office a message, asking if there are any offers for the game, they might sort something out for you and if not then you are no worse off.

A quick google found this too - unsure what it is and how it works before using so just be cautious, but if you know someone in the NHS it might help

Why begrudge the club to save a few quid.

Just sit at home watch it on YouTube if paying for tickets is an issue.

At least the club makes money from the YouTube views.

I'll just explain to the club that I'm a bit short at the moment. I'm sure they will have your level of understanding. They are a business not a charity.

Never tried to save a few quid yourself on anything?
Ignore that person not even from the North East. Don't support Sunderland or Durham.

Every time I've noticed them it's been to abuse/criticise people or post libel about Archer.

Not sure why they bother posting, offer nothing positive.

So I take it you’ll be there?
😂😂😂
This is what they said about their last visit, a Warks fan btw.

"Thanks for the quid ticket can't remember name who told us about it on here....As a first time visitor to your ground. Blimey an oversized county ground. Not really a test venue is it?? Very much like Cardiff a soulless bowl. 6000 good attendance but at only a quid blimey that's poor really. Thanks for the easy 2 points."

Yes, now you come to mention it, I can recall that particularly witty and scintillating piece of prose 😂

I’m far too old to get annoyed by rubbish like that. Must have too much time on my hands 😂

Did you manage to get sorted?

In a way. Party will now be of five adults. Kids faces apparently went into a big twist when the realised the cricket was going to be ‘all day’. Attention spans of goldfish. After contacting the ticket office, I found out I had two ‘credits’ on the system that I must have forgotten about, possibly from a rain affected game late last year or even the year before So, it cost me three adult tickets which is absolutely fine.
