Any podcast fans out there?

I used to be a massive fan of the second tier and in all fairness I still listen to them but recently I’ve been trying to find good podcasts focusing on the premier league. I’m not keen on “the rest is football” so if anyone has recommendations I’d love to hear them. Cheers and HTL

Yeah another shout for 3 at the back, they basically talk about the teams at the bottom end but are still talking about Sunderland because I think a lot of their subscribers are lads fans.
The 3 lads are very engaging and knowledgeable, and are always very fair when assessing each team

Listen every week still, had some good guests on and it’s just easy listening - less of a footy podcast now tbf, more just tomfoolery and thigh slapping fun.

Loved NTT20 mind, stopped listening when we got promoted so wouldn’t mind filling that void with a similarly good podcast.

Second tier was really good, I do miss it. Rest is Football is nowhere near as good.

Might try Three at the back.
 
Football Between the Lines is a great pod. A spurs and a palace fan, who talk about all things football related, but mostly prem.

Guardian Football Weekly - SAFC get plenty of mention due to Barry Glendinning and Jonathan Wilson
Athletic Totally Football Show - more big 6 focus but similar to Guardian football weekly and have some great European insights and guests.
Football Ramble - mag and a Mackem on there. More banter type crack.
On the continent - focused on Europe but a little bit more serious than the ramble.
The Athletic FC - big 6 focus
Libero - really quietly with Jonathan Wilson and James Horncastle so quite Anglo Italian pod.

He does wax lyrical and speaks well however I think he and that Arsenal lad focus on us and Newcastle to get the views. I remember the Second Tier said something about their listening/viewing figures likely being lower next year as we won’t be in it.

I think as a fanbase we’re particularly keen on soaking up content.

And the rest is just Micah Richards laughing. I like most of the other Rest Is family but the only time I've listened to Shearer and Co was after the win against the Visitors.

Gary Lineker is a bright and knowledgeable bloke and he should be doing better than hanging out with those two muppets. I don't think I will be watching their World Cup show on Netflix.

I don’t think Lineker should be doing his own podcast on his platform imo

Of the ones I’ve heard it’s miles away the worst, he’s just got his two pals from MotD on and it’s poor
 
NTT20 and the Second Tier are great, and I continued listening to them after promotion in order to keep up with the championship goings on, because until we went mental in the transfer market and got off to a great start I thought we would be back there next season. Haven't felt the need to listen since last autumn though:-)
I now mainly just listen to ours: WTF, WMS, Ha'Way The Pod, The Roar, Phil Smith, We Are Sunderland, and sometimes Conor McGilligan on YouTube, as he is very balanced.

For Prem coverage my favourite is the Irish one, Second Captains - just consistently brilliant; Totally and Weekly are very much guest-dependent for me these days; Ramble’s a laugh and has recovered from a bad spell to being consistently good again.
