I can only sincerely apologise for being a “ dog wanker “ as you so eloquently put it.
Unfortunately, I’m meeting the lady ( she’s in her 70’s and not in the best of health ) as I used to visit her brother - a massive SAFC supporter - with my therapy/friendship dog at his sheltered accommodation where he’d lived on his own for the last 11 years.
He died recently aged 58 years. Virtually blind, wheelchair bound and on dialysis three times weekly. We visited him for just over a year during which time his health deteriorated, but he was always cheerful and loved nothing more than talking about SAFC and chatting about punk music. The visits to see Dave with my dog were, in his words, the highlight of his week.
His funeral is this Thursday and his sister wanted to meet my dog, as Dave used to tell her about my visits hence I was looking for somewhere that allows dogs in, so we could reminisce about Dave and she can meet my dog.
Again, I can only apologise to you for being so bloody inconsiderate.
