Anthony Head - RIP

That 6 o clock slot weeknights BBC2 was exceptional. In the 1990s we used to have Buffy and the Fresh Prince as an alternative to Neighbours, and the news. God bless Tony, you made everything better with your handsomeness.

How good was bbc 2 back then? Red dwarf on a night.
Gutted about this celeb death. A great father figure and role model for someone who taped every episode of buffy on vhs before getting box sets for xmas

Then Channel 4 tried to do the same with Angel thinking it was a "kids" show and ended up having to cut it to pieces to make it suitable for the time slot. Later seasons of Buffy did get some of the scissors treatment on BBC2 (especially Where The Wild Things Are in Season 4 which has Buffy and Reilly in bed for most of the episode) but it wasn't as bad as what Angel got.
