Anthony Gordon to Bayern.

Underrated on here. Could be a killer in the right set up
Agree. I get the rivalry part, and I'm not saying I think he's phenomenal, but he's clearly a talented and dangerous player rated by his country and some of the biggest clubs in the world.

He's had a shit season and looked awful at our place, but if anything this story is how the mags need to cash in assets rather than how is Gordon going to Barca, isn't it?

The thing that would give me pause with him is that he seems capable of turning it on when he wants, I'm not sure he's always 100% motivated. As seen by how things have ended at both of hus clubs so far. Personally I don't like players like that

I thought he must have been good against Barca in the 2 knock out games against them so I checked the BBC stats.
He didn't start the home game and came on after 67 minutes. Expected goals 0.05, Total passes 6, Pass accuracy 50%, Shots 0, chances created 0, Fouls won 1, Tackles made 0.
In the away game he started as a number 9, Played 81 minutes. Expected goals 0.17, Shots 1 (off target), Expected assists 0.00, Chances created 1, Total passes 4 Pass accuracy 75% Tackles made 0 Fouls won 2
His Champions League goals were 4 against Qarabag (2 pens), PSV 1, Bayer Leverkusen 1 (pen), Benfica 1, Union Saint-Gilloise2 (both pens), Barcelona 1 (his only shot in the entire game)
So his 10 Champions League goals included 5 penalties.
I just think his agent must be some super salesman

The way he went on after he scored against us was a disgrace knowing that he was f***ing off in a few months time.

All show for the mugs that follow him , and they lap it up.

He's fast and direct and has a good touch. He nips in with a few goals and gets on around the striker to support them.

Decent player and this thread will look silly of he does well in the W.C.

To be honest though I'd probably have brought wellbeck as backup to rashford and when you think we've had Siterling and in that position recently, he's not a great pick. Certainly a long way off being world class.
