Exactly. He had to show the EFL an account with £50m in. It was one of the hurdles in the fit and proper test.

But aye, Lee Ryder was close at £8m
was it £50m? Im not saying your wrong but if Stewart had £50m in cash in an account, he must be worth vastly more than that, his non cash assets should be at least the same amount as that again..

Think SD might have misled a bit on that one. As far as can be seen, FFP doesn't require owners to show proof of their own funds - only that the club will have sufficient funds to operate over X amount of time.

But I think he had to show he could cover the losses personally? And we lost £30m or something?

Again I think saying him personally is misleading as I don't think he specifically needs to provide the money. But I do think he needed to show that the club could get that money should it need to. Likelihood is it's a mix of him (or other owners) putting money in, the club using parachute payments, cutting costs and, if necessary, obtaining external loans.

2nd episode with Roker Report. He stated he had to show £50m in an account as part of the fit and proper person test

I trust he knows the setup he requires to get the best for the club. Tony Davison coming from Tottenham was a real vote of confidence for me like.

The Echo are saying this Fox guy and Donald have a property company called FoxDons...an amalgemation of their names..
and a cut of Bridle Insurance to the tune of 15 per cent...
