Angulo Elbow


Lucky it was only a yellow given the state of VAR but it utterly stupid from him.

Also saw him wipe Fernandes out again during one of their last attacks, don't know what went on with them but the coaches need to have a word with Angulo to just calm down

I thought his arm kind of slipped off Fernandes's shoulder and his elbow brushed his face. Definitely didn't seem any intent to me but I was still expecting a red

Yeah I feared the worse for him. You just can't give refs and VAR and excuse these days.

To me it looked like petty afters for some earlier incident. Perhaps wasn't aiming for his head but it can easily get you sent off so just don't do it.

Glad he didn't go off mind as I'd like to see more of him in the last two games as he looks exciting. He had a good moment getting in behind their full back on 85 mins just chasing a ball in behind where he just outraced and and outfought him for it. We've been desperate for that for so long to have that kind of out ball.

Get him on the right and Talbi on the left and get real pace and threat down both sides.
 
Given the speed of the game and intensity of the players and Fernandes being like a spoilt bairn in à ket shop it’s hard to call.
Personally I’d say it was a yellow
Had it happened to Xhaka or Sadiki there’s be hell on

It was very silly.
Not aggressive.
BUT, if he had gotten a red, we could have no complaints.

Fernandes is a proper tart for acting on the way that he did though, as if he’d taken a haymaker from Mike Tyson.
What a minge.
