Andy Robertson

Leaving Liverpool in the summer. 100% we should be after him, will add a lot to the squad.
I'm not quite as convinced.

Was a great player but he's lost loads of his former pace and its clearly affected his game hugely. Watching him for Scotland too and he's rapidly become more of a weak link than some of his less successful team mates in the defence.

If we got him cheap as cover but I'm 100% sure that our scouting team will have younger, better options they'll be looking at.

Plus I doubt he'd come here if not guaranteed games and imho I don't think RLB or the board run the club that way anymore. Barring our captain I don't think anyone gets picked unless they're impressing during training.
Nah, Wolves left back for me would be a better option. Very good and younger.
This will be more the type of player who we're looking at.

I'm pretty sure some people have paid little or no attention to the last 12 to 24 months at our club. If this was the summer, and we'd just been promoted then yes, we might have had a look at Robertson to bring some much needed experience at full back. But we haven't, and we're a year further on. Reinaldo is the stop-gap experienced pro and I can't see why we would change that this summer unless he wanted out for some reason. Cirkin is reletively young and experienced and the coaches will have an idea whether he can make the position his in time. We're more than likely to go out and spend good money - by that I mean £20+ million on a v good prospect who has some European experience, and has 100+ first team appearances already in a decent division and is versatile. That is what i expect to see us doing in another 3 or 4 positions - including Xhaka's.

Does not fit the model. Stupid wages for someone at the tail end of their career. Will be off to Saudi IMO.

Sunderland can find much better value elsewhere, the lads washed up.

Klopps intense doping regime has finished a lot of their players up before their time - Robertson, Firmino, Fabinho, Matip, Salah, Mane, Van Dijk all lost / losing their zip early doors.

Same thing happened at Dortmund.
