Andy Nash issues unify game or face breakaway challenge

One thing, I'm not in favour of invoking the Premier League and an example that's good to follow.

My wants are pretty simple and pretty conservative with a small 'c'.

Have a good County Championship competition.
The Counties have enough money to survive, even with the help of sugar daddies or the support of Local Councils who can justify it on grounds of local amenities or promoting visitors to the area.
County players earn enough to have a fairly good lifestyle.
The ECB maintain a fairly level competitive playing field between the Counties so the league doesn't become unbalanced even to the extent of providing Counties that have gone into decline a bit more.

Ditto for the Test squad.

That means I'm happy enough to have the T20 Blast although I'm not a particular fan, mostly. But I can only see 'The Hundred' as being destructive.

Once the ECB has enough cash to see the Counties survive and prosper I don't see any need for them to be given more - counties shouldn't be given huge amounts of dosh as Premier League clubs are - their only reason for existing is to provide good cricket not but not for a few select people to become very very very wealthy.
