Honestly, i dont feel we defended for our lives, Paul Merson said we genuinely had a go and I feel that as well.

I think the problem is that these clubs genuinely cant accept this sort of loss, their media teams struggle to be creative without upsetting their glory hunting fans, it has to be all about slating the other side rather than looking at their own team.

Paul Hawksbee is a normal football fan and a good and funny presenter. Andy Jacobs is the miserable, entitled straight man.

I've always liked their show and don't take it seriously, they are both well known comedy writers after all.

Even when doing the writing etc for other shows it was clearly PH who was the writer with AJ the producer( though could be wrong on this bit) ,hence his writing for Harry Hill, no Jacobs there !

TBF mate, he's did it for 25 years . He probably started being genuine (and probably still is ) but he does play up to his grumpy reputation. Do like the bloke and him and Paul have been one of my favourite double acts

Yeah, Andy has always been a producer in programmes such as Fantasy Football and Channel 4 Daily.

Paul has written for loads of people, even Frankie Howerd back in the day! They make a great combination IMO.
