Usually enjoy his rants to be fair… miles off with this one though…. He’s light years ahead of that Charlie Baker who’s replaced him as co host for most of the week though

Hmm im not sure i agree. He's completely blind to the fact some squads cost 150 million and some cost 1.5 billion. And its not just with us, it's with other teams too. Seems to go on like we're all playing from a level playing field. And also seems to speak out in favour of state owned clubs being given free reign to spend what they want.
 
Hawksbee and Jacobs produced ITV's version of fantasy football league when baddiel and skinner went to itv for the world cup. And have always felt like a baddiel and skinner tribute act.

Tbf they are the best of a bad bunch at talksport, and he's only reacting like we did when we would lose to someone like Burton Albion in the league one days. 'We should be beating sides like that.'

See how he deals with it when they lose to Burnley or Leeds. Tbf he has a point about Maresca. Dreadful manager.

The entire channel is aimed at gammons. People with permanently high blood pressure who go off the deep end about absolutely anything.

People whose brains aren’t fried would do well to think about who the advertisers target* and consider whether they fit the category.

*Spoiler: The target for Talksport ads are a specific group called ‘morons’.
 
He was exactly the same when we beat them under Mourinho and when Paul Hawksby said “you have to give them some credit” he replied “no credit at all”. Strange the things you remember but it always stuck in my mind with the bitter little bugger.

Him and Adrian Durham were the reason I stopped listening years ago, oh and Mike Parry.
 
It's one of those radio stations where people don't like to admit listening to it but they always pick out a certain presenter being good for a reason why they do.

The reality is, it's absolutely turgid for about 95% of the day.

Always been like that, horrible unfunny little ****, who should be sacked for his rediculous basis opinions. Seems to be on alot less these days and hopefully time will see him gone in the near future.

They mentioned that today, laughing about Sunderland bringing out the miserable old bugger in him.

None of it was aimed at Sunderland because we're Sunderland, we were just the team that beat Chelsea.

It was very funny.
