Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor arrested

You would like that would you? Being born as public property. Having your every step reported on? Having absolutely no choice or say in it?

It is despicable.

She is not just commended for not having a scandal... which, given most life choices you take for granted would be an absolutely monumental scandal for QEII IS commendable.

Yeah, I can't be backing that, nor would I want to. She was incredibly devoted to that POS.

My mate just told me this evening that he took the "loan" saying he would sell his chalet and pay them back, KNOWING he had it mortgaged to the hilt. He is just the most outrageous bstd.
I'm sure the 12million came from the public purse not his mams.

You're quite right, its rumoured she paid from her Dutchy. What is clear though. Andy didn't pay out.
Yes that is well established, it was a "loan" from the Queen, Charles and William... at the time of taking the loan Andrew said he would sell his Chalet (the acquisition of which was murky as f) to repay them but he knew it was mortgaged to the hilt.

Just wondering how many of his aides are calling his "friends" to try and get support and getting nothing right now.

Will be interesting to hear what his police protection team and also military personal staff testify… no doubt they saw and heard things.
But protected him and said nowt, just like the diplomatic service who were essentially pimping for him on his overseas visits.

Andrew’s not in trouble with the law and his family m because he’s done something wrong. He’s in trouble because he’s been dumb enough to get caught without any plausible deniability.

How do you work that one out??????

I may have expressed it badly on account of having had a few drinks. Clearly he has done wrong, but my point is many people will have known that he’s done wrong for years, and they’ve been quite happy to tolerate it as long as it didn’t create a public fuss.

What’s happened to Andrew over the last few years is that he’s been publicly outed so they have no option other than to act. His financial corruption and his likely sexual corruption will have been well known for a long, long time. The response now isn’t about justice, it’s about damage limitation.

Aye.

Can't see any damage being limited this time though mate.

The excrement has violently collided with the portable air conditioning device marra.

Hard to argue with that, I really think you should take some pride though in how Britain is absolutely leading the way with arrests and holding people to account.

It is way too late, it is not enough, yet, hopefully... but Britain is leading the way. I absolutely think that is something to be, ok maybe not proud of but assured by.

His protection squad certainly knew what he was doing but I doubt it would be their place to say anything and I also think they would probably be sacked if they did.
